The President of the country, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting with U.S. Congressman Ritchie Torres.

Torres shared photos from the meeting on the social media platform X, praising Kosovo's role as the United States' greatest ally in the region.

"The United States knows no greater ally in the Western Balkans than Kosovo," wrote Torres, who is the Co-Chair of the Albanian Issues Caucus in the U.S. Congress and a representative of the Albanian community in the Bronx.

President Osmani had previously written about the meeting held in New York, thanking Congressman Torres for his contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between Kosovo and the United States.

"Grateful for his unwavering commitment to supporting the Republic of Kosovo and for his continued contribution to strengthening our strategic partnership with the United States of America," Osmani wrote on Facebook. /KosovaPress
