Three uninhabited houses searched in Zubin Potok, hundreds of bullets and military equipment found

The Kosovo Police conducted searches of three uninhabited houses in Zubin Potok in the early hours of 5 July, where it found and confiscated a significant amount of ammunition and military equipment.

According to the 24-hour police report, in the first case 432 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition and 18 rounds of unknown calibre were found and seized.

In the second case in the same area, officers confiscated 204 rounds of various calibres, 56 shell casings, a bayonet, a military mask, and three military food equipment items.

In the third case, a hunting rifle, 31 rounds of ammunition, and some old Yugoslav dinars were discovered and seized.

The prosecutor was informed in all three cases, and investigations were launched for the criminal offence of “unauthorised ownership, control or possession of weapons.”
