Some Kosovo border police officers sent their regards to U.S. President Donald Trump through his adviser and friend, Pastor Mark Burns. They also surprised the American pastor with gifts as he was leaving Kosovo.

The officers told Burns that they had presented him with a gift bearing the emblem of the institution they represent in appreciation of the positive comments he made two days earlier. During his visit, Burns praised the Kosovo Police for their work in ensuring the security of his delegation and protecting religious sites across Kosovo, particularly those belonging to the Serbian Orthodox Church, which he visited together with Patriarch Porfirije.

“I was deeply honored to receive a special gift from the Kosovo Police at the border crossing,” Burns wrote in a post accompanying the video.

“These police officers were assigned to help secure our delegation, together with His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to serve deeply touched me.”

He concluded by thanking “the people and the beautiful state of Kosovo, His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije, and the Kosovo Police for your hospitality and your commitment to peace, security, and mutual respect.”
