The Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj has announced that three individuals have been detained for 48 hours on suspicion of involvement in criminal offenses related to legalization of false content, document forgery, and abuse of official position.

According to the Prosecution, the operation was carried out in cooperation with the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Ferizaj, following the execution of a search and temporary seizure order for houses and associated premises issued by the Basic Court in Ferizaj.

By decision of the State Prosecutor from the Serious Crimes Department, those detained are A.S., a notary in the municipality of Viti, I.M. from Pristina, and F.N. from the municipality of Dragash.

They are suspected of committing the criminal offenses of “Legalization of False Content in Co-Perpetration,” “Document Forgery,” and “Abuse of Official Position or Authority,” according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Prosecution stated that their detention is the result of ongoing investigations linked to a previous case, in which five other individuals had earlier been detained on suspicion of abuse of official duty.

Authorities emphasized that investigations will continue and that all necessary procedural and legal actions will be taken against the suspects in this criminal case.
