Kosovo's Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation (MINT) has announced that, based on the decision dated April 5, 2026 on setting the maximum price, the permitted fuel prices for today (Monday, April 6, 2026) remain unchanged from the previous day.

According to the announcement, the maximum allowed prices are: diesel at €1.86 per liter and petrol at €1.49 per liter.

MINTI has called on all economic operators to strictly implement the decision taken by Minister Mimoza Kusari-Lila, in order to ensure a functional and stable market serving consumer interests.

The ministry warned that any violation of this decision will be handled in accordance with the applicable legislation.

On Friday, a session was held in the Kosovo Assembly on fuel prices, where opposition parties demanded the removal of excise duty and VAT on fuel. Prime Minister Albin Kurti opposed such a request regarding excise duty and VAT on fuel.
