The voting process for the second round of local elections at “Hasan Prishtina” primary school in Prishtina is going smoothly and without issues. Citizens who exercised their right to vote at this polling center said there were no complications and that the process went well.
In the second round of local elections in Prishtina, the candidates are Përparim Rama from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the current mayor, and Hajrulla Çeku from the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV).
“Everything went well, we voted and fulfilled our obligation… There was nothing wrong, everything was fine… We hope for better than what we currently have,” he said.
Another citizen, Hakif Hoxha, also said that the voting process went smoothly and without issues, while adding that they expect change in the capital.Citizen Agim Murati also spoke to KosovaPress, noting that citizens in Prishtina are frustrated with heavy traffic and many other concerns.
“The process went very well and was easy. I don’t know how it could be easier… We hope for the best since citizens are tired of the frustrations affecting the city, like traffic congestion and other issues. Hopefully, whoever wins will fix them, because we’re exhausted,” he said.
The number of eligible voters in Prishtina is 222,418, with a total of 51 polling centers and 268 polling stations.
