The workers of Prishtina Parking are protesting, these are their demands
Even though their salary is not increasing and the benefits are not being paid, they are continuing to perform other jobs, which are not in their employment contracts.
Starting from the controllers, the workers of the Local Public Enterprise, Prishtina Parking, have also gone through a blockade, with continuous threats that if they do not sign the annex to the contract, they will leave their jobs.
All these workers of Prishtina Parking are asking for is a salary increase of 100 euros more and food allowances to be paid from 5 euros.
The vice-president of the Trade Union Association of the workers of NPL Prishtina Parking, Valon Sojeva, during the protest held today in front of the offices of this company, said that Prishtina Parking had a subcontractor, a private blocking company, which had a 350,000 euro contract and according to him it was terminated.
Since the contract with this private company was terminated, Sojeva has added that their responsibility has passed to the workers of Prishtina Parking.
Sojeva added that the company has taken measures to facilitate payments at cash registers, but according to him they are already playing the role of cashier.
Even though the company has brought cars with four seats, which was requested by its workers, they do not have the assistance of the Kosovo Police and they are continuing the role of policemen, which according to Sojeva is a very big risk in the field.
Also, the working hours have increased from 6 hours to 8 hours of work.
Sojeva, has emphasized that 8 hours in the field, without water, bread, with this salary they are not able to make it.
If their demands are not met, then the Trade Union Association of N.P.L Prishtina Parking workers will continue to protest continuously.
