The defense witness, Qelë Gashi, who is a member of the steering council of the KLA War Veterans Association, is being heard in the Specialist Chambers in The Hague. In the court hearing against Hysni Gacati and Nasim Haradinaj, he said that the packages that had reached the WVA-KLA contained documents in Serbian and Serbian names, including Vukovic. Gashi stated that with their publication they aimed to inform the public that Serbia is providing information to the Special Court.

In his written statement, which was read by the defense, Gashi said that on September 7, he was with Hysni Gucati, Nasim Haradinaj and Faton Klinaku at the central office of WVA-KLA in Prishtina when around 10:00 someone had brought packages of documents.
