The well-known Kosovar handball player passes away
Dead at the age of 69, the distinguished former handball player of Drenica, Enver Demaku. Demaku was the icon of the Drenica club.
The deceased had started his career in 1967 when he was a student in primary school.
He was part of the first generation of Drenica with Salih Heta, Fazli Haxhiu and others. In the 80s he played with Morin Bunjak, Bogaj, Ademi, Bujupi, Krasniqi...
"With the death of Enver Demaku, the region of Drenica, but also Kosovo in general, lost a respected handball figure. We express our deepest condolences to the honorable Demaku family and the entire handball community in Drenas", wrote in the condolence telegram of the president of KHF, Eugen Saraçini.
