In the Special Court, the first session of the judicial process has started against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, for whom the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office claims to have committed war crimes.

Former KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi are also present in the courtroom.
