The strike continues in the schools of Prishtina
Kosovar students have
not yet started the learning process, despite the fact that according to the
calendar of the Ministry of Education, the regular process should start on
September 1. Two weeks ago, the Independent Union of Trade Unions of Kosovo
announced a strike, which includes SBAShK, the union that represents the
teachers.
KosovaPress stayed at
the "Sami Frashëri" gymnasium as well as at the "Ahmet
Gashi" gymnasium, where the learning process was not taking place. In both
of these schools, it was said that teachers are staying at the school from
09:00 to 12:00 but are not teaching.
The biology teacher at the "Sami Frashëri" school, Florie Sejdiu, expressed her concern about the continuation of the strike. According to her, they continue to respect the decision to strike against their will...
