The situation in Jarinje and Bernjak is calm
After the resignation of the Serbian policemen, the general security situation in the northern borders of the country, Jarinje and Bernjak, is calm and without any incidents.
KosovaPress learns from police officials at the border that everything is going according to plan and without problems, while after the resignation of the Serbian policemen from these border points, the number of their Albanian colleagues has increased.
Right next to the border of Jarinje, there are two EULEX vehicles with their members, while members of the Rapid Response Unit of the Kosovo Police are stationed about a kilometer away.
Along the Mitrovica - Leposavic highway, Serbian flags can be seen everywhere and in greater numbers than before, while near the village of Socanica, the Serbs have placed the inscription "Here is Serbia" on the iron bridge. A similar situation is in Bernjak.
