After Ramush Haradinaj's statements about the referendum on the unification of Albania with Kosovo, the Russian Embassy in Albania reacted, calling these statements a provocation. A few days ago, Ramush Haradinaj stated that for the further development of Kosovo in the international arena he sees as an option a referendum for the National Union. Such a reaction of the Russian Embassy in Tirana comes at a time when Albania declared diplomat Alexez Krivosheev ‘non grata’, due to non-compliance with anti-Covid measures. Russia has described this deportation as a provocation by Albania and according to them, it will not be left without a reciprocal response.
