The Directorate of Inspection in the Municipality of Prishtina has taken action to free up the sidewalks in the capital.

The Director of the Inspection Directorate, Florian Dushi, together with his team went to the field to inspect the action. The municipality has decided to remove the fences on "Hamez Jashari" street near the City Park and thus free up the sidewalks for pedestrians.

Director Dushi said that the purpose of this project is to free up the sidewalks around the City Park, a longstanding request of the residents of Prishtina. He said that because of the blocking of the sidewalks, the fences have been removed today in order to have more space for the free movement of citizens.
