It is important for women to be involved in all decision-making processes related to the pandemic, which, according to statistics, has presented much greater difficulties for women than for men. This was stated at the UN Global Open Day on “Women, Peace and Security”. It was said that women around the world, even in Kosovo, have been at the forefront of reactions as health workers and dealing with the consequences of the pandemic but that they have been excluded from decision-making processes.

Development Coordinator at the UN Office in Kosovo, Ulrica Richardson said that it is extremely important for women to be involved in any decision-making process on the pandemic.
