The opposition is against the Draft Law on the KPC, Haxhiu accuses them of obstructing the justice reform
The Draft Law on the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council clashed the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu with the MPs od opposition parties, in today's session of the Assembly.
The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, said that through this Draft Law they aim to reform the Prosecutorial Council.
However, this draft law was opposed by PDK MP, Hajdar Beqa. He said that the same is unconstitutional and that it will be rejected again by the Constitutional Court.
Criticism was also addressed by LDK MP, Driton Selmanaj, who demanded the return of this Draft Law to the ministry.
Meanwhile, the head of AAK MPs, Besnik Tahiri, said that through this Draft Law, the politicization of the Prosecutorial Council is being aimed.
However, Minister Haxhiu accused the opposition of obstructing justice reforms through the Constitutional Court. /KosovaPress/
