The opposition against the forgiveness of 100 euros in property tax bills: Here is the solution
The Government of Kosovo approved a few days ago the draft law for the amendment and completion of the Law on Tax on Real Estate, through which taxpayers can benefit from the deduction of the invoices of the year 2023 up to the amount of 100 euros or the height of the invoice.
The two largest opposition parties, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) are against this bill. Although the Assembly of Kosovo has not yet addressed the issue, they say that they will not support it.
The MP from PDK, Ferat Shala, requests that the decision on the property assessment for 2022 be canceled and that property tax payments continue this year according to the law in force without changes.
