The number of fines imposed on those who do not comply with traffic rules has increased significantly. This is stated by the statistics of the Kosovo Police, which say that they have imposed over 62 thousand more fines for the first three months of this year compared to the same period last year. The Director of the Road Traffic Division, Lieutenant Colonel Jeton Rexhepi, told KosovaPress that this year the number of fines has increased by 62%. In Kosovo, Road Safety Week is currently taking place which ends tomorrow. During this time, the Kosovo Police, throughout the country, is conducting various activities aimed at raising public awareness of traffic safety.
