The MoH orders 300 vaccines against cervical cancer

The Ministry of Health has ordered 300 vaccines against papilloma virus (HPV), a vaccine that protects against cervical cancer. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Health, Dafina Gexha, who participated in the roundtable organized by the Council for Sustainable Development of the Assembly of Kosovo, where it was discussed about the fulfillment of Objective 3 "Good Health and Welfare", respectively the topic: Good Health and Welfare: Preventing Cervical Cancer. The Deputy Minister of Health, Gexha said that this ministry in the framework of the Strategy 2021-2025 gives priority to the treatment of communicable diseases through the drafting of the Infectious Diseases Program 2022-2032. She added that they are now in the process of establishing the National Board for Cancer Control, as the current board is inactive.
