The Independent Union of Private Sector in Kosovo (SPSPK) has opposed the decision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW) to cancel the new tender for maintenance and safety, as 400 private sector workers have lost their jobs.

The chairman of the Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector, Jusuf Azemi, said that despite the promises of the Kurti Government that the minimum wage will increase, the opposite has happened, as the new tender offered a gross salary of 200 euros.
