The meeting between the outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the candidate of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bedri Hamza, has concluded.

Albin Kurti visited Bedri Hamza this afternoon at his office in the Municipality of Mitrovica.

So far, there has been no official information regarding this meeting, and as soon as there is, KosovoPress will keep you informed.

Meanwhile, today marks the 29th consecutive time that the Assembly of Kosovo has failed to be constituted.

All previous continuations of the constitutive session since April 15 have failed because the Movement Vetëvendosje, Guxo, and Alternativa do not have enough votes to elect the new Speaker of the Assembly.

The continuations of the constitutive session are not lasting long, as the attempt by the three parties—Movement Vetëvendosje, Guxo, and Alternativa—to form a commission to oversee the secret ballot is failing in the vote.

The attempt for a secret ballot by Movement Vetëvendosje, Guxo, and Alternativa comes after Albulena Haxhiu has failed six times to receive the 61 votes needed.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, and NISMA are against Albulena Haxhiu for Speaker of the Assembly and are also against the secret ballot requested by Movement Vetëvendosje, Guxo, and Alternativa.

The parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has sent a request for interpretation regarding the method of secret voting to the Constitutional Court.
