Dissatisfaction within the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDJ) continues to surface publicly.
After Avdullah Hoti, who called for new leadership, internal discussions from the party have also emerged, highlighting complaints about manipulation during the February 9 elections. All of this is described as a criminal scheme by the former head of the LDK parliamentary group, Arben Gashi. In response, the party's chairman, Lumir Abdixhiku, has reacted. Meanwhile, in the conversations, Tërmkolli refers to the individuals as "Sorosian show-offs”.
According to the published screenshots, Arben Gashi, the former head of the LDK parliamentary group, accuses others of vote theft and demands that this case be classified as a "criminal scheme." "The facts are screaming, Kujtim. You have to accept the concern for the crime that has occurred," Arben Gashi wrote.
"They reappeared tonight, in sync. These are attacks that, as you can guess, target the third-place party. Once again, for the umpteenth time from third place – as these people like to remind us – we are the main culprits for everything in this country. In these pre-planned and synchronized attacks, the new and old opponents of the League have come together; and all those who feel that they have lost pace with the great opening that has happened, is happening, and will happen in the LDK. On one hand, we are told that we are captured by oligarchic businesses, so we can't hold on. Yet here we are, holding on. For ourselves and all our supporters. Their voice is the only one that guides us today. On the other hand, from the other side, we are told that we are servants of the power, so we are letting them govern. Even though we don’t go along with them, we don’t speak with them, we don’t cooperate with them. The truth is simple. Very simple and right. The LDK stands for itself; and through itself, it stands for the Republic. And because it stands as such, it is being attacked by others. They are not used to seeing us like this, they cannot accept it. Therefore, they are united against the LDK. Just for your information, internal matters have already been discussed in the Presidency. The LDK trusts our institutions in every way; and in this regard. We do neither the prosecution nor the judiciary," he said.
Former LDK deputy, Melihate Tërmkolli, responded after the publication of internal communications among LDK members of the party's Presidency, which discussed an "organized criminal scheme" related to postal votes from the diaspora. In these conversations, Tërmkolli refers to individuals as "Sorosian show-offs," claiming that they are holding the LDK hostage for personal interests.
