Kosovar paraglider, Fanol Shala, has achieved an impressive result in the World Cup (second series) paragliding accuracy discipline, held in Alania, Turkey.

Shala was ranked second out of 69 competitors, with six points in total, but what stood out the most was the world record, reports KosovaPress.

Shala had six consecutive landings with a result of 1 cm (total 6 cm), breaking the world record, confirmed after the race by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale.

The world champion, the Chinese Yang Chen, took the first place.

The other contestants from Kosovo, Veton Sylaj, Migjen Shala, Gezim Statovci and Avni Kuçi also had a good performance.
