The KJC announces a competition for the President of the Basic Court in Prishtina

The Kosovo Judicial Council has decided to announce a competition for the position of President of the Basic Court in Prishtina, reports KosovaPress. This follows the 355th meeting of the KJC, where Albina Shabani-Rama was promoted to the position of judge at the Special Department of the Court of Appeals.

In the same meeting, it was also decided that Ilire Vitija will serve as the acting President of the Court in Prishtina. Until now, she had been serving as the Vice President of the Court.

In this meeting, Judge Migjen Kastrati was elected as the supervisor of the Basic Court in Peja, Istog Branch, while Judge Fëllanza Knushaj was elected President of the Basic Court in Gjakova. Both positions have a five-year term.
