The Kosovo Agency of Statistics is organizing the population census week today, which will take place in Pristina during the next three days.

The Population Census Week in Kosovo, which will be held on November 8-11, 2022, aims to gather the main actors in the country at the central, local, regional and international levels to discuss the importance of the Census process, the methodology and implementation approaches, the models and state best practices, the press release states.

The national population census project is carried out by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, with the support of central and local institutions, international partners, and the relevant bodies defined by the Population Census Law. As one of the most important national projects, and as an official number in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo, the population census will be carried out in the period September 1-October 16, 2023.
