Israel's ambassador to Kosovo, Tamara Ziv, says that removing visas for citizens from Kosovo is an important step for both countries. According to her, travel without barriers will enable diplomatic, economic and cultural relations. The ambassador from Israel in an interview for KosovaPress emphasizes that this is already a procedure of the two foreign ministries, but that she expects the decision to come into force very soon. As for the situation after the outbreak of the war in Gaza, the Jewish diplomat emphasizes that Israel is in a difficult situation, and that, according to her, Hamas is to blame.

Israel removed the visas for Kosovo, which allows citizens to move freely while traveling in this country, and for this she says that it is an important step for the relations between the two countries.

As for when this decision will begin to be implemented, the Jewish diplomat expects such a thing to happen in the following months.

On the third anniversary of diplomatic relations with Kosovo, Ambassador Ziv spoke about relations with Kosovo and visits during this time. She said that during the 3 years since diplomatic relations between the two countries were established, there have been many visits to both countries, including the fields of economy, culture and art.

Speaking about the situation after the start of the war in Gaza, the Israeli ambassador says that Kosovo is supporting her country even in the difficult situation it has been going through since last year. Ziv said Israel's army has decided to respond to the terrorist attack carried out by Hamas on October 7, where 1,200 people were killed and over 5,000 others were injured.

While she hopes that peace can be restored in order to live, she blames Hamas for the war. Ziv said that until October 7, there were close to 18,000 Palestinian workers entering Israel every day and contributing to the economy of the Gaza Strip.

The Jewish diplomat in the interview for KosovaPress says that Hamas has pledged to repeat October 7, for which she adds that peaceful coexistence is the best solution.

The war between Israel and Hamas started on October 7, 2023 after the attacks of the Hamas group where about 1,300 people were killed and 250 others were taken hostage. Whereas, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the war in the Gaza Strip has killed over 26 thousand Palestinians.
