Today, Prime Minister Albin Kurti received the Ambassador of Ireland to Budapest, also non-resident ambassador to Kosovo, Ronan Gargan, with whom they talked about bilateral relations and strengthening economic, trade and security cooperation.

Ireland now holds the Presidency of the Council of Europe and Prime Minister Kurti stressed the support that Kosovo needs for successful membership in this important organization for the promotion of human rights, freedom and democracy in Europe. Congratulating the Prime Minister on the progress in the economy and on the indicators of democracy, the Irish Ambassador thanked him for joining the European Union in condemning Russia's unjustified and unprovoked aggression in Ukraine and for imposing sanctions on Russia...
