The hearing ends, the trial against Pjetër Shala continues in May
The testimony of the
fourth witness in the trial against Pjetër Shala in The Hague has ended. A
person who claims that his father was kidnapped in Albania and was then
mistreated for several days in Kukës was presented before the trial panel. The hearing
has ended with this witness, whereas the trial will continue from May 1.
According to the
witness, his father had known Pjetër Shala only during the time when, according
to him, he was kidnapped and not as a result of the work he did until 1997 as a
police officer.
The witness said that he lived outside of Kosovo and learned about the events about his father from his family...
