The heads of state commemorate Mother Teresa

On the 25th anniversary of the death of the prominent Albanian humanist, the heads of state paid homage to the statue of Mother Teresa, in Pristina, where they asked that her example be followed.

The president of the country, Vjosa Osmani, said that Saint Teresa left her example that should be followed by generations to come.

"Today we commemorate with great pride all of her work, her mission and the example she left behind for the generations to come, showing that it is love, respect, help towards each other that should always be a guiding light in our daily work" , she said.

The President of the Assembly said that Saint Teresa is the surest example of devotion. He also said that she has always been close to the people and when needed, she has always raised the issue of Kosovo.
