The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, has stated that due to the inaction or wrong actions of judges and prosecutors, women's lives are being lost, minors are being sexually abused, women and girls are being physically and financially abused, and major corruption remains unpunished, therefore the reform in justice enables only those who have complete moral and professional integrity and who can justify their wealth to be in the justice system

Haxhiu made these comments in a joint conference with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, where he also announced that the vetting is being sent to the Assembly of Kosovo for voting.

She said that in June they received the green light from the Veting Commission through the external constitutional mechanism for vetting the high levels of the justice system, which include the Kosovo Judicial Council, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the chief prosecutors of the prosecution offices and all the presidents of the courts.
