The caretaker government held an electronic meeting yesterday in which it approved the request of the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers for savings and allocations.

In the announcement from the Office of the Prime Minister, no further details were given about which institutions will receive budget allocations from these savings and reallocations.

Workers of Radio Television of Kosovo continue their general strike due to not receiving their salaries. With RTK workers on strike, there will be no news editions at 11:00 and 13:00.

The RTK Workers’ Union has announced that the strike will take place every day from 11:00 to 13:00, with the suspension of all work in every sector.

Meanwhile, the bus lines of Urban Traffic and private operators have again suspended work today due to the financial blockade faced by the Municipality of Prishtina.

In protest, workers of urban traffic and the public-private sector have blocked the streets of the capital with buses, which they have placed on “Agim Ramadani” and “Luan Haradinaj” streets.

The Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, has accused the Ministry of Finance of blocking the own-source revenues, while the acting minister, Hekuran Murati, has denied such a thing.
