The presentation of evidence by the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor, in the trial against Pjeter Shala, began with the hearing of a protected witness, whose identity has not been made public.

The personal data of this witness were read in a private session, and the public did not even hear when the witness answered the prosecutor's questions regarding a period in the spring of 1998.

The prosecutor, Filipe Deminiqes, has presented a map in which the witness has encircled the name of the country where he lived in the period of 1998. This map has not been made known to the public.

But according to the prosecutor, the witness said that the place where he lived at that time was about a three-hour walk to the village of Jabllanica.
