The EU supports the employment of women and young people in rural areas

The European Union Office in Kosovo through the Kosovo Agricultural Development Initiative (IADK) has distributed grants to the beneficiaries of the municipality of South Mitrovica within the project "Supporting the employment of young people and women in rural areas through agricultural development. The agricultural equipment donated on Wednesday to the beneficiaries of the first year of this project is estimated to contribute to helping disadvantaged young people, women and groups in rural areas to create new businesses and conditions for self-employment. Head of the Cooperation Section at the European Union Office in Kosovo, Luigi Brusa says that the project plays an important role in mitigating the economic situation and contributing to the engagement of women and youth in the municipality of South Mitrovica and Shtime.
