On Wednesday, the government of Kosovo approved the draft strategy for 2025-2030 and the action plan for 2025-2027, both focused on the rights of persons with disabilities.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that this document aims to improve the quality of services, advance the inclusive education system, and enhance accessibility for persons with disabilities.
In today's government meeting, the proposal from the Ministry of Health for the appointment of the ad-hoc commission for the professional evaluation for the position of chief health inspector in the Health Inspectorate was also approved.
Acting Minister of Health Arben Vitia said they aim for high healthcare standards.Additionally, the proposal from the Ministry of Health for the ad-hoc commission for the professional evaluation for the recruitment for the position of executive director in the Kosovo Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices was approved.
"The Kosovo Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices is a key institution in managing and overseeing the pharmaceutical market, which directly impacts the safety and health of our citizens. Strengthening the position of executive director of this institution plays an important role in ensuring regulations, standards, and fulfilling the agency's objectives. The recruitment commission will ensure that this process is conducted in accordance with the applicable legislation, respecting the principles of transparency, equality, and competition," he added.
