The Assembly of Kosovo has approved in principle the draft law on the establishment of national spatial information infrastructure in the Republic of Kosovo. The Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Librun Aliu said that spatial data are necessary for the country. Explaining the draft law, Aliu said that all spatial data will be placed on a single geo-spatial database, which, as he said, will be accessible to the public and central and local institutions.
