The defense of the former spokesman of the KLA, Jakup Krasniqi, in the opening statement stated that the evidence of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office cannot link Jakup Krasniqi to any alleged crime.

Krasniqi's lawyer, Venkateswari Alagendra, stated that the former spokesman of the KLA did not have the powers or responsibilities that the SPO claims he had.
