The defense of former KLA leaders asks the prosecution for the list of witnesses, criticizes the SPO for procrastination in issuing materials
At the sixth status conference, which being held against former KLA leaders, at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague, lawyers have asked the prosecution to submit a list of witnesses that it intends to call to testify in the courtroom. Also, at this conference, the defense criticized the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office for procrastination in issuing the materials and changing the deadline for their submission.
The lawyer of the former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, Luka Misetic, was the one who asked the SPO for the list of witnesses, and such a request found the support of other lawyers who defend Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veseli and Rexhep Selimi.
