Two Serbian bombers, on March 27, 1999, targeted the headquarters of the KosovaPress News Agency and Radio Kosova e Lirë in the village of Berisha. As a result of this attack, Elbasan Jakup Berisha, 16 years old, was killed while his parents and six members of this family were injured. The day before, the same planes had hit the headquarters of the spokesman of the General Staff of the KLA, Jakup Krasniqi, in Klecka. Two Yugoslav Mig 21 planes, at 8:20 am, targeted the village of Berisha, where the headquarters of the Radio and the Agency were located, the two institutions for information of the KLA General Staff.
