The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, said that the reluctance to be vaccinated leads the country towards a new wave of pandemic, and this is also being supported by the experts in the field. About 19% of citizens are immunized with the first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, but this percentage is not considered sufficient to withstand the "Delta" variant.
The acting director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic, Arben Vishaj, says that Kosovo may also be affected by a new wave of COVID-19 infection.
