The damages from the floods amount to millions of euros, the municipalities do not have the budget to cover them all
The Association of Kosovo Municipalities (AKM), requests from the central level to allow the municipalities to review the budget, to look at the possibility of investing funds for flood damage.
The executive director of the Association of Municipalities, Sazan Ibrahimi, has stated for KosovaPress, that the municipalities do not have a budget to cover the damages caused by natural phenomena, while adding that the central level for two consecutive years does not allow the municipalities to review the budget.
Ibrahimi said that based on the information they have with the municipalities that are affected by the floods, the situation is improving.
