The Ambassador of Croatia in Kosovo, Danijela Barisic, has expressed support for Kosovo's integration into the European Union and NATO membership. After the meeting with the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in the Assembly, she said that the relations between Kosovo and Croatia are excellent, while congratulating Kosovo on the alignment, as she said on the right side of history, after the Russian aggression in Ukraine. "We talked about bilateral relations which are very friendly, but also about other important issues that are important today, regional cooperation, and everything that concerns our countries. Croatia consistently supports Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic integration. We were among the first countries to recognize Kosovo's independence, fourteen years ago. We have supported and continue to support Kosovo's path to European and NATO integration and the Partnership for Peace. As for the Russian aggression in Ukraine, we are grateful to Kosovo for being on the right side of history, as we, the EU and the US did. Like Croatia, Kosovo has imposed sanctions on Russia, both economically and politically," she said.
