On Wednesday, the Court of Appeals ruled on the case of the former mayor of Lipjan, Shukri Buja, who, in September last year was sentenced to two years in prison by the Basic Court in Prishtina.

The Court of Appeals decided by sentencing Buja to one year in prison and an additional sentence of banning the exercise of functions in public administration or public service for two years.
