The Kosovo Court of Appeals has upheld the verdict of the Basic Court in Pristina that acquitted former Foreign Minister Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla of failing to declare assets. According to this judgment, Haradinaj-Stublla was acquitted of the accusation, since it has not been proven that she committed the criminal offense of non-reporting or false reporting of property, income, gifts, other material benefit or financial obligations, according to Article 437, paragraph 2. KPRK. As the Court of Appeals announced in a press release on Tuesday, the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina had appealed against the court decision, but the Court of Appeal rejected this appeal as unfounded.
