The Court confirms the Prosecution's request to order Kurti to appear for questioning

At the Basic Court in Pristina, the Special Prosecution of Kosovo has submitted a request for the current Prime Minister Albin Kurti to appear at the Prosecution to give testimony in the capacity of a witness regarding the state reserves case.

The news was confirmed to KosovaPress by Mirlinda Gashi, spokesperson for the Basic Court in Pristina, who stated that they are reviewing the request.

“We confirm that the Basic Court in Pristina - Special Department has received the request in question from the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, the request is being reviewed by the court,” said Gashi.

Kurti has been summoned as a witness by the Prosecution to give his version regarding the state reserves case, in which businessman Ridvan Muharremi and officials of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Irfan Lipovica and Hafiz Gara, are suspects.
