The Central Election Commission has not yet received any application from political entities to participate in the local elections to be held on October 17 this year. CEC spokesman, Valmir Elezi, says that they have not yet received any application, but emphasizes that political parties have time until August 16. Political parties, civic initiatives and independent candidates, in addition to applying to run in the elections must also submit a list of names of candidates for Municipal Assemblies.
