The CEC certifies the first 2 entities to participate in local elections, the formation of a new party is announced
The Central Election Commission (CEC) has certified the first 2 entities to participate in this year's local elections. The Civic Initiative "Lista Guxo" has been allowed to run in the elections for the Municipal Assembly in Ferizaj. Whereas, the other Initiative "Together for Istog" is certified to participate in the elections for mayor and municipal assembly in Istog. Meanwhile, at today's meeting of the CEC, the formation of a new political party was announced. And it was announced that so far, 1,208 applications for registration from abroad have been approved.
The Director of the Office for Registration and Certification of Political Parties, Yll Buleshkaj, said that these two civic initiatives have met all the criteria for certification.
