Understanding the mining sector due to the pandemic situation, extension of the administrative instruction on Standard Mining Signaling Forms, the appointment of the new ICMM board, as well as high costs for the installation of new fences under the defined conditions, were some of the main points which were discussed at the meeting between the Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo, businesses and the ICMM.

In the framework of this joint meeting, the CDBK asked the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals to understand the difficult situation in which businesses are during the pandemic, and to understand that the implementation of this administrative instruction for the installation of new fences, should be postponed until the end of the pandemic and the appointment of the new ICMM board, in order to jointly establish a group to set new conditions for fences.
