The businesses' protest ends with a demand for reflection from the institutions
The protest organized by businesses and business chambers, which was against the decision to liberalize the energy market, has ended.
The Chairman of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Lulzim Rafuna, said the demand remains that institutions provide businesses with a transition phase.
Rafuna said that if there is no reflection, the protest council will meet to decide on further steps.
“We have reached the end of the protest, we are satisfied with the effect and participation in the protest. Our demand remains that the country’s institutions reflect and provide businesses with a transition phase, no more, no less than what businesses in the region and beyond have had. We ask them to reflect; if there is no reflection, we will continue. The protest council will meet and we will see the next steps,” said Rafuna.
Rafuna warned that the protest could become radicalized if there is no response from state institutions.
