The Basic Court in Prishtina has received from the Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo an indictment for the continuation of the trial in absentia. The person accused of war crimes was in Kosovo at the time the indictment was filed, but then escaped.

This is what the president of the Basic Court of Pristina, Albina Shabani-Rama, told KosovaPress, who said that the case has been transferred to the Special Prosecutor's Office by EULEX. According to her, this indictment was recently sent to this court and the proceedings will soon begin...
