The Government of Kosovo is pledging that the establishment of the Association of Serbian Municipalities will only be in accordance with the Constitution, any they consider other tendencies as unworkable and a setback to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. But the European Union, which mediates the dialogue, is waiting for Kosovo to make proposals on how to establish the Association.

Meanwhile, the Vetëvendosje demands the complete annulment of this agreement, because according to them, there should be no one-ethnic Association at all. The same is said by the constitutional expert, Riza Smaka. While VV's partner in the opposition, the PDK demands care from the executive, that the international obligations arising from the 2013 agreement be in accordance with the laws and the Constitution of the country.
